Working Process of Power Transformer

  1. Input & Winding Excitation: AC power is fed to the HV winding to generate an alternating magnetic field in the core.


  2. Magnetic Coupling & Energy Transfer: The core couples the alternating magnetic field to the LV winding for electro-magnetic energy conversion.


  3. Voltage Transformation & Power Output: The LV winding induces matching voltage by turn ratio and delivers converted AC power to the load.


  4. Parameter Monitoring & Regulation: Real-time monitor key parameters and adjust turn ratio via tap changer for stable voltage output.


  5. Heat Dissipation & Protective Operation: Dissipate losses by cooling system and activate protection devices for safe continuous operation.
